Speaking of Mockingbird812...Sam showed up in a REALLY NICE dark blue Chevy...Looked great sounded really good, too!

I won't say much other than 396/375 and clean!

Finally...the weather is starting to cool down...which means the cars are slowly coming out of summer hibernation. Here's a parting shot on our way to dinner. I just put the camera above my head and shot.

Car is a '69 dusk blue (51 51) 300 Deluxe Hardtop with the SS396 option, L78, M22, KK rear, chambered exhaust. 8,700 miles, original paint, interior, and trunk. Original drivetrain, extensive race history at Magnolia Dragway in Canton, OH area. Delivered new at Ewing Chevrolet, Canton.
