The 57s have been gone for quite awhile.
The '62 Grand Prix is a Nebraska car and owner (based on the current license plate). Don't know much more than that. |

That GP is stunning
Probably a Super Duty 421? I was looking at the window sticker picture....do I see that correctly that the engine and trans was packaged together at $1300+ ???? That's a whole lotta pennies and dimes in 62 ![]()

I am guessing it's not a real SD Grand Prix but I may be wrong...I know 1 was found by Allan Gartzman formerly from Chicago but I think he went to AZ...I could be wrong though. His was not red I don't think...PHS won't lie so if the one above has PHS its really a rare SD...a little odd SD trivia..at least for 63...the SD package was the same cost whether you wanted aluminum or steel front metal. If I remember Jim Mattisons words correctly.I found that kind of odd...would have thought the aluminum would be an up charge !!

Some of this car's display material said it was 1 of 16 made and 1 of 3 known to still exist.....for what it's worth. Don't recall any PHS narrative in the displays but there could have been.
