http://www.geocities.com/MotorCity/G...eel/wheel.html I just called my PPG supplier in the Seattle area, and they have all the components to mix the Original LAQUER ONLY formula. THe Suede additive gives the paint its rough texture. This was to simulate real cast wheels ala American Torque Thrust. The Original Laquer paint has no clear coat and did not hold up well, if washed regularly with cleaners and brushes. Any other type paint or powder coating might look GOOD, but not Correct Original Factory Look. Below I will show misc pics of CORRECT 1st (70-74) Trim Rings and the later 2nd design (77-81) Trim Rings which many people use (incorrectly) on 70-74 Z-28's.
