I just got Back from dropping the COPO off up there. First Time ever for me at an event of this magnitude. I was duly impressed and I believe the Cars I saw in person as well as the Vendors that were setting up mean serious business! Barrett-Jackson might just set up on the East Coast next year after the results from this Shin Dig are in. I have to go Back tomorrow. Here is a link to some pics I took up there today. Not a whole lot but I will get way more tomorrow now that I know the Layout. http://www.villagephotos.com/pubbrow...der_id=1449864

12 bolt..In your pics you show the ZL1 and list it as Heartbeat Citys.. I assume it is the same one that was on Ebay. I had heard he had sold it but apparently not.

The 71 Hemi Convertible is sitting right beside that Enzo and the sad thing is that the general public would think that the Enzo would sell for more money.... but it won't even be close!

It looks like the auction will also be on Ebay Live. Ebay Listings I believe that this auction is being put on by Kruse International, which I think is owned by Ebay. By any chance does anybody have an extra pass for Saturday?

Did anyone see this one? It is the oldest Corvette in existance. VIN # E53F001003. The 3rd Vette built. Estimated value $2.5 to $5 million.

CTChevelle,

------I take my hat off to whomever is promoting this auction. There is a heck of a list of great cars going thru, and I very much hope (for both altruistic and self-serving reasons) that the auction does well. With that said, I have a high degree of mistrust for any endeavor that a certain long time auctioneers name pops up anywhere near.
------I will restate in a bit different way: There is no earthly reason why this auction should do badly looking at the list of entrants. If the right bidders are there a lot of money will change hands and a lot of people will go home happy. But if that auctioneer is involved, know where your title is at all times and keep an hourly lookout for your check. The squeaky wheel gets the grease as they say. GOOD LUCK TO ALL!!!!!!!!!.........Bill S

Where the hell do they get these estimates??? I have a feeling that most of these cars bring a fraction of there "estimated values".
