Jeff,
Yes, I know of at least a half dozen sales for between 43-50k. 3 of those I can personally verify were real. I also know of a very correct 71 that went for 36K. I know because I offered 35k and didn't get it. Personally I think 70's have a premium over 71's but thats me. The most "expensive" sale I know of ,relatively speaking, was a 70 for 40k that was all messed up. Car had a saddle, standard interior swichted to black, 1/2 deluxe with wrong steering wheel..wtf? Also, wasn't fully numbers matching, missing smog, dist, alt exh man. and more.

They never noted a COPO for 1969. All they list is the Yenko and ZL1. My car is insured for more than the good condition Yenko, not that I ever want to file a claim.
I believe the insurance company would agree.

There are people out there that just can't bear the thought of actually having to pay up for good 70 Z's now...along with the parts....they were cheap and easy not too long ago...not anymore. Good thing is now that they are getting some respect there will be more parts available .

I'll buy every Z out there for the price that the Manheim Gold calculator states. Those price guides are never correct.
It states that show Hemi Cuda hardtops are only worth $150,000. Six Pack cars are close to that range when they are concourse. People that live and die by those guides never end up with a car ![]()
