We bought our COPO Chevelle 8/18/69. Absolutely nothing to do with Woodstock. I was into MUSCLECARS. I guess we were back woods as long hair and hippies were an oddity around here.

Chevelleless after 46 years......but we did find a low mileage, six speed, silver 2005 Corvette. It will just have to do for now. ![]() |

Jim, you would also have to ask how many muscle cars were purchased BECAUSE of the war. Many returning Vets used their mustering out pay to purchase their dream car. Myself, foolishly spent the mustering out pay on beer
