I just got some 110 octane at 5.00/gal yesterday , although I can't say i was all too happy.

The Deuce did seem to enjoy it though....

Yeah Joe, I occasionally treat my Camaro to a few gallons of Unocal 101 unleaded pump gas. Man, that stuff makes the exhaust smell good, like candy. (No drain-bramage, I mean, brain damage jokes.) Near-total waste of money im my car's case but it does run better.

I'm sure I'll get ripped into for this reply but I have to say something about these outrageous prices for some of these musclecars. Don't get me wrong; I love musclecars as much as the next guy but, 5 million for a Hemi 'Cuda.........come on. Are you trying to tell me that a production line produced musclecar is worth more than a hand made aluminum bodied Cobra S/C or Ferrari GTO? These cars have a racing pedigree, were hand built by craftsman and were extreme limited production cars.
I just find it hard to justify pricing a Hemi 'Cuda or similar musclecar over something like the two cars I mentioned.
For the lucky few who own these cars I think you better get comfortable with the influx of clone / recreation cars since there aren't too many people who can afford the real thing anymore and, if they could, would they really even think about driving such a valuable piece?

Okay, have at it, I know I'm going to get clobbered.

I loved it during BJ on Speedvision the British announcer Alan had his panties in a twist when American "commoners" cars were going for more than high brow ferarris and such. It was great.
