If you're looking for a quick resale,go with Triple Black.
If you will keep it long term,go with it's original green scheme.
It will take you longer to sell it in this color anyway.

Black/black/black... the triple green is not an attractive combination and if you do intend to sell it down the road the black will appeal to more buyers.

If I may ask.. are the guys calling for triple green saying so because they like the color combination and would buy a car with those colors? Or is it because that is how it came from the factory and come hell or high water it should stay the same way no matter if it is attractive or not?

How about green with a black top and black interior? That is certainly not a bad combination!

I say leave it green. It is what it is! That is how it was ordered. Get a street rod if you want to change colors!

As the owner of a triple green '70 Chevelle, I say leave it green. If your codes are indeed 795/45 B, then your car was born with a black vinyl top.....not green.

Jim, I agree 100%. Up to this point I have had a genetic predisposition against changing the color of a car. However, in this case I may need some gene therapy.

Bill, I to am wondering of those that recommend leaving the car triple green what %age would actually consider buying a triple green car. I know I wouldn't. O, wait a minute I just did didn't I

Correction on a typo, the vinyl top code is G. I must have blacked out wile I was typing it. I think if I ever decided to sell the car I would have to be on medication if I left it green. Like with the LS6 car it got to the point where I was ready to pull what hair I have left out if one more person told me "man that green really hurts the value" and that car was stunning with ivory interior and white stripes. What to do. What to do.

Green LS-6
For someone that hates green, I think you have done quite well with them. I must agree but man they were sure popular in the 70's. More and more people are starting to like Green.

Just given ya poop Rick. I would likely face the same questions to myself if I owned one.

Paint it red with a red interior and no vinyl top. White stripes.

Unfortunately, the LS6 didn't bring anywhere near that kind of money...it was green If it had been any other color I think it would have. The low mileage also hurt that car, belive it or not.
