Darren The bolt you need can be bought from a Corvette supplier like Paragon. Just ask for the ground strap bolt for a mid-year. Also the front crossover line clip bolts for a 67 corvette. It is 1/4-20 thread with a notch cut out on the first 3-4 threads for self tapping. If you can't get one I have a hundred or so original replated ones I've collected over the years. Hope this helps.
Thanks, Rich. |

Darren, I don't think you need that bolt or clip on a Z. The hole where it would install was never tapped on my 28K mile car. Check to see if yours is. I have looked at pictures of serveral untouched original cars, no clip... Sheet M3 in the assembly manual does not show one, but it does show up if the car has AC. Could this be the next "Caution Fan" sticker on a Z/28.
I followed your progress over the winter of your car, it looks great. Keep up the good work. Mike Attachment is not my car, but 18K original. |

Hmm. The Kenny P car. That never caught my eye. Let me check some more of my vintage photos.

I do not know Camaros like I do Chevelles but on the Chevelles, this bolt/bracket depended on plant and build date and to some degree, the day of the week.......
