Firebird-fresh in from Kansas...going to go terrorize the streets of Peoria and Speedworld Raceway. Oh yea, Vinnie was there with his Dukes of Hazzard Charger (in the background)

Notice the two large nitrous bottles

This house is two blocks from me...It was hit by lightning about 4 days ago during one of many monsoon storms we've had recently...The house was just completed a week and a half ago, and the owners were about ready to move in...not now!!!

So the sun sets on another beautiful Arizona Saturday...as we brace for the monsoon storm that's coming from the north...Hope everyone has a great rest of the weekend!

According to our home builder, we are grounded somehow in case of a lightning strike...don't exactly understand how that works...It seems like any of the houses that I've heard of around here that were struck by lightning were a total loss?!

Our house in Palatine, Illinois had a lightning rod that was struck twice in the 5 years we lived there...scared the $hit out of me!

Also, The car that Sam drove to Pavillions was EXTREMELY nice.

Lightning is no fun. This is the tree right next to my garage. It was hit by lightning last week. It took a 4-inch section of wood and bark off from the top at 45 feet, all the way to the bottom. Very scary. I guess it was God's way of telling me I should drive my cars more often and not just leave them sitting in a garage all the time!
