Seeing all the different plates is very cool. It brings a question to mind for me. Why do some people cover up or block out (Photoshop paint over) their license plates in pictures? Is there something they're protecting besides a clever license plate?

The only thing I can think of is,someone doing a DMV check to find out where the car is located?
