So are we to infer that someone bought a fake copo? [/ QUOTE ] It is probably safe to say that more then one person has bought a fake COPO and that people will continue to buy fake COPO's whether they know it or not. Rick H. |

Rick, Either you are an attorney or you are an attorneys worst nightmare witness on the stand. C'mon, your're killin' us.............what gives with this car? I am assuming from the fact you jumped in with your intriguing post originally, that you are an innocent witness and not an accomplice. ( No your honor, I am not badgering the witness)

Ok you made me laugh.
![]() I direct you to your opening statement and I quote, "It's the car shown around with 15" painted wheels/small caps ?????????????? that owner says is correct." ![]() And if we were talking about the same car, said vehicle had more markings then a kindergartner chalkboard? I rest my case! Rick H. P.S. Was there ever a COPO made with an X33 trim tag? ![]() |

Interestingly, the X-33 tag was my first question when I saw the car. To answer your question in the previous post: Not that I am aware of. Any other opinions out there on X-33 COPOs ?

George,
How about a Copo that had it's tag changed to X33 to make it a "Z28"! There was such a car at Indy years ago. William knows the car. I'm not sure of color, etc. The car was part of the Glockner Chevy Copo order. William, what do you remember? Mark |

Hi Mark
I saw the car at SC Indy 2001. It was Le Mans blue with a repo X33D80 tag. Had DZ motor but way too early for the car. Based on body number [assuming it was correct] virtually had to be a Glockner COPO.

[/ QUOTE ] So you saw that as well? My question was to see if anyone else saw the same trim tag. Which obviously others have. I have NEVER heard of a Z/28 COPO. I really hope the person who bought the car understood what it REALLY was. Rick H. |

I think the 69 Z/28 COPO was a convertible.
