Sam..They just vacumn out the joints and then slobber epoxy in them. Here is the finished floor.

Cool poster I had mounted on canvas and coated to preserve it and make it look more like a painting. It was two halves that are attached in the middle to measure 4'x 10'. Dated 1966. The canvas is stretched and nailed to a wood frame.

Terrazzo is not concrete or cement. It is a slurry mix of portland and usually marble chips and after curing it is ground with a floor machine with stones to a high polished finish. Very expensive and a dying trade.

I like Terrazzo

We installed it once in a hyperbaric chamber at the Travis AFB in CA - the knuckleheads pressurized the chamber before the floor was completely finished and ruined it

Nice stuff.
