Ask Hilton Hotel Chain about Mold. They built a new tower within their Waikiki property. It sat vacant for sometime while they gutted and re-did the interior a 2nd time due to mold somehow showing up. They thought it was best to go that route instead of just the subject area. Guess they thought it best to get it all and not let it appear in other parts of the building, along with not taking the chance of a big payout to guests!!!

depends how the HVAC system is set up, if each room had its own heat pump that recirculates the burps and farts you are probably ok if you stay out of that area..on the other hand if they pull into a central type system thats the scary one it get's into the duct work and grows like crazy..nice warm place with a little humidity is a bad place for mold to be hanging it grows like wild fire.

also if they did not trash the heat pumps from those rooms I would be real leery of those rooms, thats why I asked where abouts you guys were when you saw the stuff, we are booked on the 4th floor.
