This car is for sale again.....I guess nobody really likes it! Don't care how rare it is it wouldn't be in my top ten of choices. JMO

This car was bid to $1,100,000 at the Mecum Rockford auction in 2004 against a higher reserve. I would have taken the money and run.

A Dana Convert... hmmmm sounds interesting. I would imagine that the reason that this would be rare as the obvious structure problems would arise and solving this problem would add more wieght to the car making the better performance issue moot. But you never know maybe some guy that flew in with his chopped and channeled lear jet may have the money to burn and just wanted a hotrod rag!!...........................hmmmmm sounds like a 60's beach boys song, "My little 69 Hotrod Rag"

The last time this Z-28 was discussed here there was a question about the crossram setup. Someone said it had the complete crossram setup. In the pictures on the auction site it looks like it has a single carb under the crossram air cleaner.

I just saw the car in May at the owner's home and it had a beautiful complete crossram setup. I believe it's been this way for well over a year.
