Wayne's a great guy and deserved the cover, although we have met we have never run head to head against one another, I hope to rectify that situation next year

Thanks guys........... Actually, I am pretty excited about the article and the car making the cover. Gonzo is a super nice guy that's working hard to put on some good races ......If things work out monetarily, like I think they will, I'll be able to run him at one of his races next year. Hey Gonzo, do you have spots for vendors at your race?

Well, we had a great time!!!............Turnout wasn't too impressive with only 14 cars racing (there were 87 spectaters) but, EVERYONE said that they had a LOT of fun and were all looking forward to next year's race. Low ET was Sideways Johnny in his GTO running 11.76. John Murray (A.K.A. Dr. Olds) qualified with an 11.85 in his '70 F-85 and won the race with a 12.01 beating Johnny's GTO. In his F.A.S.T. Hemi Challenger, Steve Hodges dropped a valve on his second pass!!! Steve won $250 in the Stock Appearing Incentive Program. I'll have pics posted tonight at Musclecar Grudge Match.com
