[ QUOTE ]
Hey Helmut, is your '67 SD an L35 car and is this the best a Mk1V could be in these cars or was there any L34 and L78 cars produced? . Thanks! . ~ Pete [/ QUOTE ] Pete, my SD is an L34 "EF" suffix code (4-speed) car. I've been led to believe that there were NO L78 Beaumont SDs built in 67 (but I haven't confirmed that). I was really disappointed to learn that.... given that I seem to make room in my garage for any solid lifter bow-tie that crosses my path! Helmut |

Thanks Helmut....I thought the same on no L78's but wasn't sure also didn't know on the L34's....so that'd make your L34 the top-dog in a '67 and ragtop to boot! . I'd expect you have the GM Canada docs....I'd be interested in what they may have listed as production for '67 rags also did it include a breakdown into SD or Mk1V's? . How long have you had the L72 Chevelle....that's sure a solid little group you've got in your garage! . Thanks! ~ Pete
