As a 11 year old in 72 I wanted nothing more then a Hodaka Super Rat, which I got! With it's chrome steel tank and all. Those where the days when Roger Decoster was unbeatable. A few years later I was able to get a bike that started the a change in motocross bike, a Honda Elsinore. Bike technoligy moved FATS in the 70s. the difference between a early 70s bike and early 80s bike seemed like 100 years evolution, not 10 years.

Thanks for the little remonder to the good ole days. My hand is hurting today, I can't help but wonder if it is because I smashed into that tree when I was 16?
