There were several cars, Dodge and Plymoth B-bodies, that have been documented. The reason that they "snuck out" is that the engine was not emissions certified for 1972 and it's existance as a production vehicle was something of a legal violation. They were built during initial drivetrain testing/pilot vehicle production and then sold off as used cars or crushed. |

I read in Mopar Collectors Guide , 2 roadrunners were produced and they have heard of 2 others ( not confirmed )
Pacrcar Go check out that car and look for a V in the V I N . |

"V" would be the correct code for a 440 Six Pack. "U" would be a 440 Magnum 4 barrel.

anyone got a good photo of one of these things (an original)?...the one I looked at is orange, big funky black hump on the hood with a trap door kinda hood scoop...Definatly a 440 six pack, trying to find out if original. Ill try and put up pictures but im having problems with this pos camera...

Maybe someone can help here, Im trying to get the pictures from the camera into the computer, using USB cable from printer,but wont let me aquire them into arcsoft program, it did work before as i loaded the yenko clone photos the same way, any ideas?

Yep , Sam said he was going to look at a 72 440+6 GTX, code would be V for 6 pac.
To date 2 ralley chargers and 2 roadrunners have been documented ,but no 72 GTX , U code for 440 4 bbl and V code for six pack. You have got to have a look at the car though., Half the fun in the car hobby is the car chase, good luck Sam. pacecar |
