The photos didnt come out too well, Most likely this car is just a clone, but the big block heater box looks original...and the guy that bought it at auction was a pretty astute collector. Maybe money laundering? I doubt Nickey or whoever would pull an auto and put in a 4 speed. When you look at the car alot of things dont make sense

That sure looks like the Nickey clone that's been on eBay a couple of times in the past 6 months.

Kurt, you are correct, stamping kind of odd, looks like this..VII14MV What do you know about this car? Right about the POP also, I asked about it and the remaining family members who bought the car from the auction told the guy who has the car now they dont have it.... This guy was a big Vette collector, I have a funny feeling he bought this car for the L-89 Motor. Maybe he had a vette he could use it in. Then when he found out he wasnt going to be around too long he lost interest and gave the car to the car waxer as a gift....why else would somebody pay close to 50,000 for this car??

Car is what it appears. L48 auto car someone dropped a 427 in. Royal Plum is a better color than red too!
If you can get a pic of the L48 engine pad, I'd be interested in it. Thanks!

Thanks!
