Because Wayne Nelson (he goes by L88 CORVETTE here) ran a 10.97 to set the new class record! And our buddy JJ was runner up with an 11.6x in his "Certified Stock" Corvette!

i know there was a f.a.s.t. shootout on sunday but i was only there for saturday. there was a very small showing of f.a.s.t. cars on saturday. those are some nice times congrats to those guys very impressive.
  if they did that on saturday i surely missed it.

There was a pretty good showing I thought. 30 cars were registered in a combination of F.A.S.T and factory stock (me). Saturday had a rain delay in the afternoon, but Sunday was a full day, sorry I couldn't stay for that.
