That would be an M21 tranny. Don't put too much faith in the console plate - they are repoped and glue in place. Tough to say what it is from the pics. Wrong valve covers, no smog system, etc. $14K for a real '70 LT-1 is a steal unless it has birdcage or frame rot...it's tough to believe that it squeaked by the experts at that price if it is real. Exhaust maifolds don't look right for LT-1.if the vette used the same as the 70 Z/28 did.

You sure about that?? I'm not Corvette expert, but I don't think they used the same manifolds as the Camaro.

Your right Joe... Corvettes were given less restrictive manifolds than the Camaro... which explains the 10 HP difference in the models.
