Car had mostly original paint but a tool box that was in the trunk had slammed in to the 1/4's and dented them out on both sides, it had a Hurst shifter installed and the console had been cut with a hacksaw. He said he bought the car at Padget Chevrolet in downtown Greenville but the build sheet showed City Chevrolet in Charlotte as the dealer.(he had an elaborate explanation) I asked him where he found the original build sheet... he couldn't answer the question...he just found it. The car had ladder bars and side pipes.(Day 2 really cool) It was probably worth in the $20,000 range... He insisted that the motor was original, even though it had a cast iron intake, a quadrajet, 66 casting dates, and the messed up stamp pad, if you could have found the original engine it might have been worth more but he wouldn't admit to anything, the cowl induction air cleaner was also gone, and it had rust through on the drivers 1/4.
It was probably 22k original miles but they may have been 1/4 mile at a time!
