There was a Burnished Brown car in Columbus that came out of Reggie Jackson's collection, but it was sold and may be in Texas now.

There is a 4th burnished brown COPO. It is freshly restored and is here in GA and was listed by a member for sale on this site a couple of months ago.

You must be talking about Jude's COPO.

I must've missed the completed pics. Can you send me some? I would be interested to see how it turned out! Need to get mine to him very soon!

[/ QUOTE ]I e-mailed the seller and asked why so Cheap? His reply was that he has no Documents but claimed it to have belonged to Reggie Jackson at one time. Could be a Great Buy for somebody. Or Maybe not. somebody should go look at it at the very least!

That is the one that Reggie owned but sold as a clone. That is the one that Wagners had. Ask them if they have timeslips from Kearney Raceway. Those timeslips belong to my old silver COPO that they copied off a web site. There is a thread on that car somewhere on this site.

So, there's apparently only 3 known to exhist...the RS, mine(an X-11), and the one out of Van Nuys. C.K Spurlock, a collector in Tenn. owned the Ca. COPO & told me that the dealership originally ordered 2 Burnished Brown COPO's & let one sit in the dealer showroom. The dealership burned down taking the twin with it. Anybody know who owns C.K.'s old car?

According to COPO.com, Frost Chevrolet in Mechanicsburg OH sold one, as did Indian River in Florida. The one from Columbus was tagged for a Brown Vinyl roof, which was missing. It also had the chambered exhaust, which sounded very healthy. The owner told me had a huge hassle with Mr. Jackson when he bought the car.
