Power to weight ratio.
Traction. Yeah, some of those little cars can move on down the road (and track). Not sure why so many traditional hot rodders are so resentful of these cars. Although not my cup of tea, they are the essence of hot rodding. I am sure a lot of the old farts driving the big fast cars of the day were resentful of the guys hopping up fenderless Ford flatheads, but that is where it all started. Probably thought it was sacrilege (or sacrilage). I like the muscle cars, but I like all the high performance machines. Lynn |
