It was in with some paperwork under the seat.
I didn't see it 'til months after I got the car.
Then I did some research to check things out.

Did the previous owner stick the paperwork there or did he not even know there was paper work under the seat?

I don't think he knew anything about it.
When I got the car, the guy said he never touched it.
He only had the car for about 1 month.

There was no motor, tranny, driveshaft or hood & still
he said it was too clean to make into a race car.

When he got my Vega (which was completly gutted inside, but all steel outside),
he immediately ordered all fiberglass for it. (It only weighed 2300lbs in race trim.)

I think if he would have kept the Camaro, he would have done the same.

I bought those valve covers about
a year or so ago on e-bay.
Wasn't sure if they were real thenbut took the chance.
Then, shortly after that, there was tons of them out ...
oh well ... I think they're cool looking.

They're the "right" valve covers, just the wrong emblem. You can pull them out with a knife and insert the right emblems.
