My 12k mile car has - probably - the orig extensions on it. Dave [/ QUOTE ] Valve Stem #9422212 is 1&11/32 inches long. It was used Originally in 1964-75 on ALL Chevrolet cars including the SS Chevelle. The reproduction tire stores today use a Stem that is 2&1/4 inches long. Way to long compared to the originals.
