Thanks. Sorry I did not see the edit.
I have one of the 3981951 mufflers dated 9 23 70. Date and part number is on the box. No part number on the muffler, although there are some numbers stamped on one of the outlet pipes. Anyone know the difference between the 3961396 and the 3981951 muffler. I know when there is a part number change there is usually some change to the part. Thanks again for any help. Lynn |

FYI, The Crossflow SINGLE Muffler for 70-72 Z-28 and SS is
3983066........and Gardner provides an IMCO brand aftermarket.... Chuck
