Default Re: Retro Camaro future??

Rick: nope, thought about trying to swing some tickets, but decided it wasn't worth the hassle...better view on tc anyway!

Joe: very good point...the Camaro had bloated out of the price range of a big part of that niche market, and the GTO only pushed the price up...I wasn't opposed to killing it off, but I thought there was a newer, fresher, better platform just around the corner...but I was wrong. My buddy bought a new SS a few years back, but he coulda nearly got into a Cobra for just a tad more, and been ahead of the game in the horsepower department. I just don't understand how, or why, GM can't make a vehicle comparable to the Mustang, but ALSO with a comparable price? Are they using all the good ideas on the Caddys and the 'Vettes??
