Keith, They were painted GM Chassis black and gobs of undercoat. The GM Chassis black is no longer available. And even if you found some, its probably no good. Mark is correct you would want to spray it 60% gloss. Most restorers have their own mix of black. Usually a modern age epoxy black. Good luck. Keith are you painting the belly of your L78 Chevelle?
