Oh yeah, grille is not getting changed. It's resting comfortably with the rest of the car in my 3rd bedroom.

No more kids until the car gets finished.

New poster here. A couple of winters ago, I stripped off the undercoating from the underside of my 69Z. I used "Aircraft Paint Stripper" from Auto Zone. It was very agressive, but did the trick. You paint it on heavy with a brush, and then scrape off the material after 5-10 mins. In most places, I had to do this 2-3 times to get off all of the undercoating. Once I finished, I used paint thinner to remove all oils, etc off of the finished areas. I'll post before and after pictures later today
