Default Re: Simply incredible '67 427/435 Corvette..speech

Toyvet,

------TimG's 67 400/427 green roadster has a few more miles but is a better car in my opinion and I know both these cars pretty well. Please dont get me wrong, as its only by a point or two at most. Pauls car is a piece of artwork. Up at this level I think its more about how the car was treated very early in its life that makes the difference, and Tims car was absolutely pampered from the day it was delivered. Many years ago (circa 1980/2) a friend of mine in Chicago called me about this car possibly being for sale. Upon arriving at the original owners house we spent about 20 minutes unwrapping the car before we could see it. It was a dry winter day and he wouldnt roll the car out of the garage for us to look at it because he said it was cold. The owner then decided he just couldnt sell it and we went home very disappointed!
------It was many years later before he did sell the car and after a few careful owners in the middle Tim is now the caretaker. You guys should see it (spectacular)!!!!.........Bill S
------P.S. Im sure Roger Judski (owner of the L88) is real happy with the present values of 67 Vettes in general. Wonder what the 12 mile car is worth today?
