I was the next guy and I never sold the car as totally unrestored, nor did Don to me as I saw it in it's various stages of detailing. When I sold it to Gary Baker I represented the car as a low mileage car, with original paint and interior. I also stated that the engine was gone through by the previous owner (Don) to make sure everything was in order after sitting for years and that other areas were detailed as well. The car was raced at ATCO and Front Street as the story states. As far as the other story is concerned I really don't care whether it is true or not, it is a great low mileage example of a 70 Z-28.
