The Q-jet responds well to jetting and metering rod changes,just make sure the float level is correct,the fuel bowl is kinda small .You'll have to try different settings on the secondary air valve,a little at a time.Too tight delays secondary opening,too loose makes for a bad bog or possible backfire.
