A really good friend of mine sent his to Hurst and he said it cost him $50.00,all they had to do was rebuild the shifter mechanism,I guess the plates,bushings etc.He said it came back like new!

Bushings are $10 at Jegs. Nylon or steel for HD application.

Bruce, Sooooo.....You did the dissasembly, the cleaning, ALL the replating....and HURST just reassembled and ONLY charged you $90.00...is that correct.....

I would have to dig out my receipt, but I think it was $70.00 due to the fact that he only had to install the new parts and assemble it. Bruce

I like the Hurst rebuilds.I gave a buddy that worked there my Vertigate......Hurst threw it away and gave me a new one.Gotta love that!
