Thanks for sharing!

That's what I'm going to make my '68 Camaro look like... only it will be Butternut Yellow with a Black stripe... getting closer all the time.

I'm unsure if I'll mix in the bumble-bee stripe or not... I'll have to mess around with PaintShop first to see how it looks.

I'm picking up my stinger hood on Saturday from Rick's First Gen... they have the one from that guy in NC that everybody recommended. They said that they just got new ones in and they are even higher quality then before.

Boy I hope I am not seeing what I think I see? Looks like the old '66 Nova rearend with bolts holding the lower plates to clamp the leaf springs without a U-Bolt over the axle!

I remember a guy here that will never walk without pain because he hit 3rd gear in his 2 month old 350hp '66 Nova and the rear end twisted completely out of the wields at almost 100mph. Totaled him and the car. Chev even went back and redid all the cars they sold with a recall and retro fitted them with a Ubolt over the axle. Very dangerious without them.

I had the same problem with the first ladder bars that were first installed on my car, they were welded to the axle,--snapped the ears connected to the axle--they came out with bolt over ladder bars later, but it was decided to go with ET bars with steel bushings---
