Default Re: ZL1 Value?

A car like this will probably turn up in the future. It is fun to daydream about events happening like this. When I first saw a pic of "Little Hoss" in 1993, as I read John Hoopers reference book on the ZL1, I thought "what if it was ever found, it would be..........". On a chance phone call to Texas a year later, I remembered that picture, and the rest is well, so to speak, history. What are the chances that my car, a one of one, would survive 25 years, and then turn up? It had been sought for years, and nobody could find it. The same can be said about Tom's Harrell '68 AA/FC, and the Harrell '67 Yenko Funnycar, they both also turned up unexpectedly.

My take on something like the price on a car of this stature is whatever the highest bidder would want to pay to have a highly desireable collectable commodity. What did that Cobra Coupe go for recently? what are Duesenbergs, and Bugatti's going for?

Somebody would anty up, who has money to burn.

ps. The "insurance company" is probably insolvent and out of business.
