Have you contacted Pontiac Historical to see if anyone in the past has asked for the sheet on that VIN. I doubt they'd give you the name but they might forward your info to them.

HI njsteve...Unless you think that the car is currently listed on a T/A, FireBird, Pontiac Club, or website registry, Im not sure that PHS can help but if you have a link I should research, a contact person, phone #, etc....Please share that with me! What else can you offer me to research with? I am a Camaro guy, so Pontiacs are not my expertise, but my guy here races them solely and knows much about them. I need to run out but I will return later to see what reply you have left here to use in my researching! Thank You So Much for your effort!

Spoke to the original owner later after the prior thread and he dug up an olde 3x4 pic of his car. He showed me that he added, YES! added the Rallye II's as it came with the 14x7 stamped steel rims and dog dish hub caps. The car was apparently ordered by the dealership owner, for his son, but somewhere in that line after recieving the car at the dealership, it was sold to my guy. He is digging up some more vintage pics and if he allows me, I might be able to post them here... It truly is something to see in that dealership order sheet a T/A and all it's originality of that order in print!
