The link to Hemmings says they want $180K. It was only $170 before BJ.
![]() If someone offered me $95K for my incorrect, incomplete and no paperwork COPO, I would have to think about it. The grin factor is huge. ![]() I would love to see what kind of "new" documentation would be discovered after the sale. ![]()

If this was Ben Wenzel's car, that is pretty good proof of what it is. He is still racing his '67Z28, and has been for 34 years. He is only a phone call away.

The original owner did have the protect-o-plate and dealer invoice from Berger. Ed Cuneen told me it was the first Berger invoice he has seen. The car is real. Its just a shame it was painted red. I think the spoilers were also added. Where are those old shots on this website that showed it "as found" at Wenzel's house??? I'd like to see those pictures again. It was priced at $ 75,000, huge money it seemed at the time.

My apologies if I sounded like I didn't beleive it was a real car. It is, and the history speaks for itself. However, as I told Jeff, I pray every day for stupid money. If I really wanted to sell my car, I know enough guys that want it, and the selling price would be fair, but if someone made me an offer I couldn't refuse, goodby COPO!
![]() As a lifelong car guy, there are things that I understand, and things that I don't. Why people offer cars at prices that are beyond beleif I can understand. Why people pay those prices is what I want to know. ![]() Andy
