Great car, Morris Probably the first LS6 car I've ever heard of originally equipped with white stripe tires!!

Evidently there were many Bill as I have several LS-6 build sheets showing these tires installed. Very neat car with LOTS of good visual information.

Very Nice Morris.
I too have seen more PY4 white stripe tires on a 70 SS then you would think.
Do you have a clear flat reverse lens inside your tail lamps?
Also do I see Under Head lamp moulding?

Rick,

Thanks for the comments. It's a real compliment coming from somebody of your expertise and experience with these cars. As far as your questions go, it's not an under head lamp moulding car. I have to plead ignorance on the tail lights as I have covered the car up for the winter. I'll peak in the garage this week and check that for you. BTW, I have the original spare (white striped) bias ply tire but it's dry-rotted around the bead.

Best,

Morris
