See your from Rockford, Was this car ever in Freeport at all and what year is it. Whats the org color? I know of a L78 Chevelle that the engine blew back in the mid 70s and the owner then still lives in Freeport.

VanMatre brothers had a frost green Chevelle (69) if I remember right and L78 Nova as well, Silver also. I want to say that the Chevelle was a 396 car but not sure if it was a L78. Theres a guy that still works at the Eagles store out on the beltway that has a cherry 67 396 as well. Hes had that car since the mid 70s and might now the car your talking about since everyone back then seemed to meet up in Monroe or Beloit on the weekends
