About a year ago was at a corvette show at Elkins Chevy in south Jersey a guy unloaded this 63 Pontiac and man did it sound mean it had pixy glass side windows had a sign on it saying Swiss cheese At the time I did not know what it was but I took some pictures of it nobody seem interested in it except me when I got home and did some research and found it was a rare car. Funning that no one was interested in it but me
So there is a Swiss cheese Pontiac rooming around in south Jersey

Well, the Swiss Cheese car DID come w/plexi windows, and the dual quad intake (as Rick described above).

Why couldn't it be a Swiss Cheese car, Tom?
My car USED to be orange, then it was blue, now it's red.

But you are correct about battery placement. My '63 Hot Rod article shows a photo of the battery mounted in the rr side of the trunk.

Does that car have aluminum factory headers? I couldn't tell by the photo.

All the drag race SD cars came with alu exhaust. The circle cars came with a stamped steel header.I saw the Demetrie car which was not a swiss cheese car with plexi windows.I dont think someone with a swiss cheese car would have moved the battery from the trunk to the front, that is the big give away. The engines in the swiss cheese cars were the same as the rest of the SD cars.ALL the 13 S.C. cars were alu.Not all SD cars were alu.
