Default Re: 1970 Yenko Nova trans and bellhousing numbers

Hi Marlin, Thanks to you and Bill for the info. Thats appreciated.
When was the resto done? I have spent the last 2 days repairing the front subframe crossmember from floor jack? damage, and also CORRECTLY repairing the rotted out #2 subframe mounts. This car is not very correct, it has a 55 chev passenger car bellhousing instead of the 621, wrong starter/dist/alternator/block/waterpump/rad/trans tailhousing/yoke/diff etc., etc.,
I have always said-IF only these cars could talk!!!
The floor is a mess, someone has changed the front and rear floor pans, not very nice, there is a lot of Bondo around the shifter hole.
Did these cars use a add on shifter hump on the floor?, or was the floor just cut out?

Actually i had presumed the trans date was probably OK, Yenko site user hugger 69 ( he posted my CTB Engine pictures) camaro has the same engine and trans stamp date and is also a 06A car , although it is a 69 camaro Z28.

Any input about this car or information regarding Deuces would be appreciated, as i am trying to get it a lot closer for a friend.

Thanks in Advance.
Mike.
