Well, there's always that slight chance that someone will get panicky (it is an auction, after all) and buy-off on that "vintage" Motion sticker and "possible" ties to Motion Performance and drop more money for the car than it's otherwise worth. It is true that some of the surviving supercars were found in similar surroundings but today it's more likely that such barn finds, etc., would sell through brokers and word-of-mouth to serious collectors and not put on eBay. I said "more likely" but anything is possible. This guy, however dishonest and ridiculous his attempt, stood a small chance of making money on this deal. Thanks to the Internet and a few minutes of quick research, we can all jump all over this crap within minutes and foil these frauds.
