They should NOT be all gold. Originally the rim faces were machined off, leaving the aluminum exposed... its not that hard to wipe off the lips once in awhile when you wash the car, and unless youre driving through a salt mine, they aren't going to corrode unless you totally neglect them for a year. Heres a good close up of the correct color and surface treatment. Lighten up the gold, flatten out the gloss a little, and remove the paint from the 2 outermost lips and they'll look like Strippers are supposed to look.
