CamarosRus, Correct me if i am wrong but, in the picture you posted of Jack,s LT1, shouldn,t the spark plug heat shields have the half moon cutouts?
My 6,000 mile CTB engine has those half moon type, same as my 69 Z28. Just wondering, not being critical.
