The lugs nuts and washers I already have look just like the Summit versions except the shank is a tad shorter on mine. What makes the Summit/Cragar lug nuts different/necessary? Just want to be sure before I spend the $40. Thanks for the info so far.

My mind is fuzzy..but I ran a set on the back of my first Camaro..if I recall correctly mine had long lugs that reached way into the rim to center it and were a special diameter..I also kinda recall a egg / long style shaped washers to cover the lug holes and were thicker than normal..I did not have lugs and went to the mag wheel dude that sold all the cool stuff "Pos-a-Traction" tire store and I recall paying large for the kit of lugs and washers....see if your lugs fit tight in the wheel...

They may look the same but they are not. The washers are thicker and will cover the uni-lug holes in the wheels. I run Americans (original stuff not the current wheels) on just about everything I have and the lugs and washers will not fit the current Cragar S/S wheels. The washers even say "Wheel Side" on the backs so that you mount them correctly on the Cragar wheels..............RatPack.................

Okay, I'll get the proper Cragar lug nuts. Thanks again for the information!
