On the 69 CX it is located directly behind the starter motor on the flange that the dust cover bolts to. The VIN is very light. From my conversations with Tommy K today his is in the same area on the 70 car..BKH

Exactly
Looks like the Willow Run boys stamped them in a different location, 'cause we were all over the driver's side of that thing on Sunday afternoon and couldn't find it!
