According to the Shelby Registry the 69 GT 350 weighs 3600 lbs. It also lists a GT500 as weighing 3850 lbs.

Charley,
Did you read the footnote about 65 GT350's?

"Big tube headers and large exhaust adds 800 lbs."

Man, I'd HATE to have one of those setups.

Colin

Thanks for the lesson guys. I just got my manuals and it is listed at around 3,600lbs. I meant no misinformation. Being new to Shelby's I looked at only a few internet sites and I should know better than to take internet sites as gospel. I listed one of the sites below that I looked at for info just so you don't think I am totally My main concern when I bought this car was to learn all of the correct part numbers and locations so that I could make an educated decision. Thanks again for the correct information

No disprect was intended. I weighed too many cars back in the late 60's at the drags to notice that weight was not right. I just though you had hit the wrong key.

Just got my Marti Report back on my car just sharing some information to show how Ford kept detailed data on their cars and production stats. Sure wish GM did or that they would loosen up and share.

It was 1 0f 40 GT 350's painted Candy Apple Red
31 had Black with red accent bucket seat interiors
29 had the sport deck rear seat
19 had the 3.25 Traction Lok axle
1 of them was shipped to New England, That's my car

If Ford tracked there vehicle's production stats like that sure makes you wonder why GM would'nt have.

Happy Holidays
