I'm on the phone with Tommy K, the more he describes this car the better it gets. This is by far the best reference a/t deuce in the country. Trying to get him to post his experiences!

The car was purchased out of Wallace Chevrolet in North Jersey, the owner made many trips to Englishtown, a dragstrip in Central Jersey, turning times like [email protected] hour, with time slips to prove it.
After a few years he stored the car and just drove it on nice days.In the mid 80"s he was in a very serious motorcycle accident he injured his spine and right leg.
I met him about 2 years ago, trying to buy the car, but he wasn't ready, I called him every other month to check on the car. finally he made his mind up, he was getting up in age and was using a walker.
After the deal was made and the title was signed over, he said he wanted to take the car for one last ride "AND WHAT A RIDE THAT WAS", we pulled out onto the street, he got on it a little. He then pulled out on the main road and layed into it, breaking tires in every gear, speed over 100 mph.
We then got on a side road and he stopped the car and asked me for his cane, I thought he was going to let me drive the car back, but that wasn"t the case. He put his good leg on the brake and the cane on the gas, he then smoked the tires until the smoked from the tires rolled into the car, He then took off and went threw the gears." What a ride, one that I will never forget, and what a smile he had ."
He was very sad when I put the car on the trailer, but he said " I HAD MY FUN WITH THE CAR , NOW IT"S YOUR TURN "
